The Solution
First, we built a strategic growth plan that focused on scaling what worked and eliminating what didn’t. One underperforming business unit was closed after a careful review — we kept the high performers, let go of the rest, and redirected resources to core growth areas.
Next, we modernized their tech. Their flagship product — a real estate listing portal with an integrated CRM — was sluggish and out of date. We upgraded the stack, removing critical bottlenecks and laying the foundation for scale.The leadership team also needed reinforcements.
We helped transition a new CEO into place, added a head of sales, and restructured finance and marketing leadership. We implemented a business intelligence platform to support data-driven decisions and improve accountability.Then we got to work on growth and exit readiness.
With the new structure in place, we helped the team scale revenues from $8M to $12M in just two years. EBITDA doubled through smart cost control and margin expansion. The company’s valuation soared — ultimately achieving a 2.5x increase and a successful sale.
